Just a bit of a preamble with regards to some code and techniques that i plan to document online for all to see in the coming months. These are strongly focussed on, but not exclusive to the CakePHP framework. Some of the things i will be covering include:

• Custom Image Manipulation Behavior
• Harnessing CakePHP to aid development of even the most basic sites.
• Some basic custom helpers/components for the above
• Ajax in CakePHP with Mootools

A formal thanks to all those that responded with offers of employment, it is greatly appreciated. I have taken up an in-house design & development position with a local dot com company of sorts and look forward to a slightly new direction for the foreseeable future.

Please keep an eye on the site as i look to in the coming months post a range of custom CakePHP based code snippets and classes that I've been utilizing over the last year and wish to share with the development community.

As of today 23rd Oct '07 I've officially declared myself as 'for hire'.

After 3 enjoyable years with my previous employer its time to take on something new. I am considering all options at this stage and am more than welcoming to any offer of web work, whether on part time, full time or contract basis. I invite you to have a read through my profile and grab a copy of my cv to see if i fit the bill!
